STUDIO ÆRION is a one person, independent handmade brand exploring the space between adornment and armour.

We started with what is now our MORNINGSTAR bag, with an idea for a Halloween costume, a little too much enthusiasm, and a desire to make something that was functional yet fashion. Drawing from goth, punk, medieval fantasy, and dark Y2K influences, we create statement pieces designed to move between aesthetics, for anyone who believes their outfit deserves a little drama.

Hi, I’m Carrie, the woman behind STUDIO ÆRION, designing and hand making every piece myself. I’ve always been drawn to contrasts in fashion- pieces that evoke a feeling, blur the lines, or simply start a conversation. From developing the designs to assembling, finishing and packing each order, everything passes through my hands. When you purchase from STUDIO ÆRION, you’re not just buying a product, you’re filling a lifelong passion of mine to craft and create.

Our collection is intentionally small. Rather than following the pace of fast fashion, STUDIO ÆRION focuses on a handful of distinctive pieces, handmade slowly and thoughtfully in Melbourne.
